Shipping Policy

This page summarises how we ship frozen chicken and pork from Brazil to international buyers. For a binding quote that includes Incoterms, freight cost, and lead times specific to your order, contact us directly.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 2–5 business days after the proforma invoice is signed and the agreed deposit is received.

Frozen and bulk shipments require additional time for production planning, blast-freezing, packaging, and the export documentation set — typical preparation window is 7–14 business days from order confirmation, subject to product availability and container scheduling.

2. Shipping Coverage

We ship worldwide to major ports, including:

  • Africa
  • Middle East
  • Europe
  • Asia
  • North & South America

Our logistics network and freight forwarder relationships cover 50+ destination countries.

3. Shipping Methods

All product moves through cold-chain logistics:

  • Sea freight (primary) — for full container loads (FCL) and less-than-container loads (LCL). 20ft and 40ft reefer containers, temperature-controlled and monitored end-to-end.
  • Air freight (optional) — for urgent or smaller shipments where lead time matters more than freight cost.

Containers are sealed and shipped under SIF (Federal Inspection Service) compliance.

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated transit times after dispatch:

  • Sea freight: 15–45 business days, depending on destination and routing.
  • Air freight: 5–10 business days.

Customs clearance, port congestion, and weather can extend these windows. We provide a more accurate estimate per route at the quoting stage.

5. Shipping Costs

Freight is calculated based on:

  • Order volume and weight
  • Destination port
  • Shipping method (sea / air, FCL / LCL)
  • Incoterms agreed (FOB, CIF, CFR)

You’ll receive a custom shipping quote before the order is confirmed — no hidden charges added later.

6. Customs, Duties & Import Regulations

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Taxes (VAT / GST / equivalents)
  • Customs clearance and broker fees

These charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless explicitly agreed otherwise in the proforma invoice.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Their country permits the import of frozen meat products from Brazil
  • Required permits, sanitary licences, and import authorisations are in place
  • Halal / Kosher certifications meet the destination market’s specific requirements (we provide standard SIF, Halal, and Kosher options on request)

7. Packaging & Handling

Standard export packaging:

  • Bulk industrial cartons — 10 kg, 15 kg, and 20 kg cartons depending on product
  • Retail-ready packaging — available for branded distribution programmes
  • Master cartons palletised for FCL shipments

All product is handled under HACCP-aligned hygiene protocols and complies with international food-safety standards.

8. Documentation & Tracking

With every shipment we provide:

  • Commercial Invoice & Packing List
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Phytosanitary / Health Certificate
  • Bill of Lading
  • Halal Certificate (where applicable)
  • Laboratory Test Reports

Tracking details and document copies are sent ahead of vessel arrival so your customs broker can pre-clear where the destination port allows.

9. Damaged or Compromised Shipments

If a container arrives damaged, with broken seals, or with evidence of cold-chain compromise (temperature log discrepancy, partial thaw), notify us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Photos and / or video of the affected goods
  • Container seal number and temperature log
  • Bill of lading and packing list reference

We investigate every claim with the carrier and insurer and propose a resolution — typically credit, replacement on the next vessel, or insurance claim coordination.
